Grader

WIRE GRADER Mod. BALTIMORE

The wire grader can be used to grade with extreme precision various types of fruit and vegetables (mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower florets, etc). A feeding system distributes the product on the divergent wires. At the beginning of the machines, the wires are set at the minimum distance between each other and then gradually the distance increases laterally (wires are following a divergent path), increasing the opening through which the product falls. The space between wires will determine the grading size. Selected grade sizes can be modified with a simple and fast adjustment system. The lower part of the wire grader is equipped with product collection hoppers according to the number of the required sizes. The hoppers discharges the product onto small conveyor belts that take the product to the next process steps or to the weighing scales fitted with load cells.
