Historical profile
Turatti boasts a wide experience in the agroindustrial sector, where it has been operating for as many as four generations, designing and constructing machines and plants.
The company has its head office in the Veneto region (not far from Venice) (how to find us) in an area that is traditionally dedicated to agricultural activities and it was founded in 1869.
The company's activities have evolved during the course of the decades, varying from the construction of machinery for agriculture to the design and construction of machinery and plants for the agroindustrial industry.

The production range is very wideand is the result of an intense research and planning activity that has given birth to a large number of international patents.
The needs of the customer are the key to the work of a professional team that operates by applying the strictest international regulations with regards to hygiene, safety and maintenance. From research to after-sales service, each phase of the operating cycle is included, guaranteeing full customer service.
Today TURATTI s.r.l. occupies an area of 34.000 sq.m., 8.400 sq.m. of which are covered and 3.800 sq.m. are currently under development.
TURATTI s.r.l. has always been deeply involved in the penetration of European and Non-European (North America in particular) markets, thus transforming itself into a company that mainly manufacturers its products for export.
The company operates worldwide and has an export rate equal to 80% of the sales volume.
A percentage equal to at least 15% of sales is reinvested each year into research.

The research and planning phase involves continuous cooperation with numerous Italian and foreign universities.
Leading Italian and foreign groups rely on Turatti for finding solutions to their requirements, thanks to a cooperation that very often goes beyond the standard customer-supplier relationship for then becoming a joint research team.
In 2001 the test laboratory (equipped with modern precision and measuring machinery), where the tests and checks are carried out during the development of new machinery, was completely renewed.
At a production and supplier liaison level, the company operates by availing itself of the contribution of numerous companies operating in this field, for guaranteeing global coverage of the customer's requirements. The production organization for work orders involves efficient integration of the various company departments, which operate in a synergic fashion during each of the various phases that lead up to the machinery construction.
Particular attention is paid to finishing and to quality control, once construction has been completed, and which is carried out in special areas by experienced technicians.
The commercial network spreads worldwide through a chain of companies and agents that operate guaranteeing after-sales service on site. The technical assistance and the supply of spare parts are provided for in different ways, for best meeting the customer's requirements.
